Our flagship combination course provides the student with the training required to submit applications for the Maryland Wear and Carry Permit as well as applications to the states of DC, VA, FL, AZ, NJ, RI, and CT. The course will cover the states firearms related laws as well discussions regarding self defense law. The course will provide the student with multiple shoot/no shoot scenarios where the class will discuss each scenario and how the laws of each state could be applied. The student will also go through the NRA Basic Pistol Course and a section on the basics of defensive pistol. This course requires students demonstrate various techniques during the class. Upon successful completion of the course the student will receive certificates of completion for the Maryland Wear and Carry, NRA Basic Pistol, MD HQL (Maryland Residents Only) and copies of all instructors certificates which will fulfill the training requirements for the states listed above. Note this course is minimum of 16 hours some of which may be provided via zoom. Please check the description prior to sign up. This course provides the foundational skills required to safely utilize a handgun. Each student will learn how to safely handle, store, maintain and shoot a handgun. This course also serves as the training requirement for several states concealed carry applications including VA, FL, CT, RI, and NJ. This course fulfills the training requirements for Maryland Residents to apply for a Maryland Handgun Qualification License which is a prerequisite to purchase a handgun in the state of Maryland.
